Wedding Ceremonies

Looking for a ceremony venue with real WOW factor?

Say “I do” in the Lower Gun Room of the ancient Castle Keep, or for simpler intimate ceremonies choose the Melvill Room in the more modern Royal Artillery Barracks.

Wedding Receptions

Popular with couples looking for somewhere to celebrate after their Church ceremony.

You can hire the Killigrew Room in the Royal Artillery Barracks for your wedding reception, and arrange catering through one of our excellent accredited caterers. Choose your own band or DJ to make your perfect party! Alternatively, you can have one of our Marquee suppliers build you a marquee in the grounds to make the most of the amazing sea views.

Wedding ceremony and evening reception

Make the most of your day by holding your ceremony and reception at the Castle.

Hold your ceremony in the Castle Keep, followed by dinner in the Killigrew Room or a marquee. Arrange catering through one of our excellent accredited caterers and choose your own band or DJ to make your perfect party!  

Alternatively, we offer a range of Wedding Packages which include venue hire, catering, cash bar, candle decorations and a DJ all in one easy price.

Wedding ceremony and afternoon wedding breakfast

Perfect for smaller weddings looking to continue the evening celebrations elsewhere.

Arrive at 12 noon for your wedding ceremony in the Castle Keep, before enjoying a relaxed intimate meal with your guests in the Melvill Room before leaving at 6pm. You can choose any of our accredited caterers to create your own bespoke menu. Available Monday to Thursday only.

Alternatively, we have our new High Tea Wedding packages, which include venue hire and a delightful afternoon tea making this an easy way to organise a stylish wedding for a small party. The only difficult part is choosing whether to go for the traditional Cornish cream tea or add extras such as Vintage china, Prosecco, Gin and tonic or Champagne!
