Due to inclement weather our additional parking facilities have had to be closed today and we have very limited parking on site. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. We will be operating on a one in one out basis. There is parking avaliable in the centre of town which is approximately a 15 minute walk across parkland and 30 minute walk by road.
Join historian Kathy Hipperson in the Service Wing of Audley End for a member’s exclusive talk and tour. We go behind the scenes of the interpretation to discover the life of Victorian Cook, Mrs. Avis Crocombe and uncover the research and work involved in bringing this cook to life. Welcome refreshments will be provided and Victorian tasting samples will be available throughout the event.
Please note, the tasting options may contain meat and/or gluten therefore they may not be suitable for everyone. Please notify us of any dietary requirments at the time of booking, so we are able to cater correctly for the welcome refreshments.
This event has been graded as easy access as there is good access to the Victorian kitchens and seating will be provided.
