Join Father Christmas at Bolsover Castle this December for a magical way to start the festive season.

Father Christmas is taking time out of his busy festive schedule to tell some of his favourite seasonal stories around the Christmas tree, in our group storytelling sessions. Then, you and your children will get the chance to meet the man himself, take photographs and make memories to treasure. Father Christmas will also give every child a traditional present to unwrap.

Tickets for the sessions with Father Christmas cost £9.50 per child. They’ll also need a ticket for the castle itself. (Don’t forget that Members can bring up to six children into the site for free.)

Because it’s such a busy time of year for him, Father Christmas needs to start the sessions on time, so please arrive at least 30 minutes before your slot.

On Sun 17 and Sat 23 Dec at 9am, we will have a special session with Father Christmas for neurodivergent and disabled people, which will be a more low key, calm and relaxed session.

The event will take place in the Star Chamber which requires stairs to reach the chamber. The last session of the day, except 2 Dec, will take place in the exhibition space which is completely accessible. If you require an accessible session please make sure to book the 3.20pm slot.
