Join us on a legendary quest this Easter holiday. Crack the clues and search for the dragon eggs on our quest boards as you explore our outdoor trail around the Roman ruins. Intrepid explorers who track down the hatched dragon will be rewarded with a chocolate treat as well as a certificate.
You can start your quest at Birdoswald Roman fort every day of the school holidays. It costs just £1.50 per child and this includes a handy pencil for your quest.
When you book your tickets, you will first be asked to select a site admission ticket and then on the next page you can select the number of Easter Adventure Quest packs you need.

The Easter Adventure Quest costs £1.50 per child (for members and non-members) in addition to the normal admission prices shown. When you book your tickets, you will first be asked to select a site admission ticket and then on the next page you can select the number of Easter Adventure Quest tickets you require. Please select a pack for each child taking part in the quest including those under 5. Under 5s can enter our sites for free but will need to purchase an Easter Adventure Quest ticket to take part in the event.
How to book
We have introduced limits on visitor numbers to help keep everyone safe. Follow the booking link in the description above to book your tickets using our online system. To enjoy this event, ensure you select an event day between 27 March - 18 April 2021. You will need to select both a general admission ticket and also select the number of Easter Adventure Quest Packs you needed (these are listed as the last ticket option). Please select a quest pack for each child taking part including those under 5. Under 5s can visit our sites for free but need to book an Easter Adventure Quest Pack ticket to take part in this event.
