Embrace the atmosphere and action of the 1940s as our celebrated WWII Weekend returns for another bank holiday spectacular. 2024 marks the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings in Normandy, so join us for an incredible event as we commemorate the year 1944.
New for 2024 will be our Wheels of War parade - featuring the throb and roar of vintage vehicle engines. Old favourites will return with the chance to inspect a full size replica of a 1944 Spitfire aircraft at our RAF airfield display, watch the dogs of war in action demonstrating how canine noses and teeth did their bit for King and Country, dig for victory with the Land Girls, youngsters can test their mettle on the obstacle course, whilst young and old alike can dance along to vintage tunes with our 1940s singers.
Events climax each day with our British and American soldiers taking on the enemy in an explosive battle display with a brand new script for 2024! Armoured vehicles, machine guns and a truckload of Hollywood pyrotechnics will come together for our amazing historical battle recreation.
