Eltham Palace and GardensSUITABLE FOR
Explore Eltham Palace's beautiful historic gardens at their blooming best with tours through the beautiful 19-acre moated gardens, demonstrations and stalls. Our expert gardeners will be on hand throughout the day to share their hints and tips and give advice on all your plant questions.
Meet the local RSPB and The Butterfly Conservation Group (Saturday only) to find out more about the creatures that call the Great British Garden their home. Watch a craftsman at work as Benn Rann displays his wood carving skills and if you’ve been inspired to get green-fingered you can browse the plant stalls and pick out something for your own garden including Dahlias grown onsite, in the Eltham Palace greenhouse.
Grown-ups can indulge in a delicious gin or prosecco cocktail or two while listening to live music from the Blooming Gardens Jazz Band as you soak up the sights and scents of the garden. Budding gardeners can get involved in a host of outdoor activities to keep the whole family entertained including the chance to learn Elizabethan dances and garden games as well as fun crafts throughout the day.
You don’t need an extra ticket for Blooming Gardens events. Members go free, and standard admission applies if you aren’t a Member yet.
