BlueJam Arts will host a ‘Folk Picnic’ at Mayburgh Henge, designed for families and featuring live music, ceilidh dancing, and group creative activities.

BlueJam Arts CIC is an innovative community arts organisation based in Penrith that works with people of all ages living rural lives. They offer an eclectic high-quality intergenerational programme of inclusive creative workshops, friendly gigs and regular groups (samba bands, gamelan, children’s music and art groups, painting, jazz - and more). They also run specific projects that focus on one participant group - such as refugees or neurodivergent teens – or involving a specially designed creative activity.

This event is free and booking is essential.

For more information, visit BlueJam Arts' website.

BlueJam Arts’ ‘Folk Picnic’ is supported by English Heritage’s Community Connections grants with funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
