Spend a summer evening exploring the stunning Venus Garden at Bolsover Castle. Led by Dr Ruth Larsen of the University of Derby, this fascinating tour will uncover the connections between the garden's themes of love, beauty and desire and the philosophical ideas of Margaret Cavendish.
Discover the symbolism woven throughout this remarkable landscape and gain new insights into one of the 17th century's most intriguing thinkers.
This tour is graded as moderate access, as it follows uneven terrain and offers few opportunities to stop and sit down.
