To commemorate the massacre of the Jewish community of York at Clifford's Tower in 1190, join Dr Jeremy Ashbee for a tour of the site, focusing on the tragic events of the night of 16 March 1190, and their context. Please note, this tour and discussion will necessarily include descriptions of topics and historical events that may be upsetting. The price of this event has been limited to cover costs of refreshments.

Access to Cliffords Tower is up 55 steps, and then there are internal spiral stairs up the roof deck. Parts of the tour will be external and visitors are advised to dress appropriately for the weather.
