Temporary scaffolding will be erected this autumn as part of a conservation research project at Clifford’s Tower. This event offers members a rare opportunity to see this conservation research in action on site, and to hear about our future conservation plans. Members will have a rare opportunity to go up on to the scaffolding. Not advised for those scared of heights.

Challenging access. There are 55 steps up to the Tower and the tour will involve climbing up scaffolding.
