Discover the clandestine wartime history of Audley End House, codenamed Station 43, when this sleepy stately home was a genuine James-Bond-style school for spies. Join us to uncover evidence throughout the house of the Polish Section of the Special Operations Executive - the organisation tasked to "set Europe ablaze" - and find out more about the men and women who trained here from 1942 to 1944 in preparation for covert action behind enemy lines in Nazi-occupied Poland.

Afterwards, enjoy an exclusive 'show and tell' session of Polish agents' wartime tools and personal items with Enlgish Heritage curator Dr Peter Moore, ahead of these objects going on display in a special exhibition marking the 80th anniversary of the Polish agents' arrival at Audley in 1942.
