5pm - 7pm
Join us at Stonehenge for an exclusive look at the new exhibition ‘Circles of Stone: Stonehenge and Prehistoric Japan’ with Dr Susan Greaney, our senior historian, and Professor Simon Kaner, Executive Director of the Sainsbury’s Institute for the Study of Japanese Arts and Culture.
Enjoy an exclusive, private tour around the exhibition, led by our experts. After a light Japanese-inspired buffet, hear more about the importance and impact of the exhibit in a lecture exploring the monuments and settlements of the middle and late Jōmon period in Japan and those built by the late Neolithic people of southern Britain.
This event takes place indoors in our exhibition and education spaces and there is level access to all areas, however please dress appropriately for the weather as there is a short walk between the two areas. Please note this event is not suitable for those under 16 years of age.
