Join Tour Guide John McFerran on a walking tour of Port Sunlight, the model village created by William Lever and built by over thirty different architects in a range of styles to accommodate workers at the soap factory. The event will include a guided tour around the Lady Lever Art Gallery, noting the famous collection and the story of Lady Elizabeth Lever in the gallery's centenary year.
On arrival, please meet at the Lady Lever Art Gallery café entrance, where a member of English Heritage staff will greet you. There is free parking for more than 100 cars outside the gallery. Parking is not managed by English Heritage. This event is graded as moderate access. Please wear suitable footwear for walking, and dress appropriately for the weather as parts of the event will take place outdoors.
