Historian Kit Heyam reveals the hidden queer history of York. On a walking tour of the city centre, you’ll discover stories of Roman trans women, 19th-century lesbian marriages and the origins of the UK’s first ever gay-pride march.

The tour is linear and will finish at the Yorkshire Museum. This event is graded as moderate access.
