If so, then join our Historic Properties team at Apsley House and play your part in helping visitors experience more of England's captivating past and preserve it for generations to come.
This is a unique opportunity for you to work Apsley House which is, one of the grandest address in the capital, once known as 'Number 1 London'. This beautiful Georgian building was the London home of the first Duke of Wellington and has changed very little since his great victory at Waterloo in 1815. Revel in one of the finest art collections in London, with paintings by Velazquez and Rubens, as well as a wonderful collection of silver and porcelain.
This is a WEEKEND post, all year round. The ideal candidate must be available to work both Saturday and Sunday, less annual leave. This is an exciting location and is a chance to join an expanding team.
Full training will be provided for the role at both national and site level as Historic Property Stewards at Apsley House fill a variety of roles, you must be adaptable to this, from greeting, till work, upselling, general cleaning duties and a general knowledge of health and safety alongside the main job roles.
Providing a warm welcome to a diverse range of visitors to this historic site, you will be ensuring they have relevant information for their visit and about the wider local environment. No two days are the same and keeping the site looking its best is essential to ensuring our visitors leave having had a great experience.
We're looking for people who are committed to providing the very highest levels of customer service and enjoy being part of a busy team with constantly changing priorities. As a confident communicator, you will be comfortable building rapport with customers and using your skills in sales to provide exceptional service at all times.
