Giving us feedback

As a charity our role is to look after historic places in England and bring their stories to life for everyone to enjoy. We can only do this with help from our Members, visitors, customers and supporters, so your feedback is immensely valuable to us.

Whether you’ve had had a great experience at one of our sites, or think there’s something we could be doing better, please let us know. You might have a question about our conservation work, or about how we have tell the story of of one the historic places in our care. You might have comments about our current projects or our plans for the future, or questions about the work we do with schools and other education groups.

Making a complaint

If you’re unhappy with an experience you’ve had with us, please let us know. We will try to put things right for you and learn from your feedback so that we can improve what we do.

Our customer services advisors will do what they can to address your complaint over the phone. If it’s going to take a little longer, they’ll let you know what steps they will take.

If you write to us, we will try to acknowledge your letter within three working days. You should received a full response within ten working days. We’ll let you know if it will take longer.
