'Current Archaeology' Awards 2012

Several aspects of English Heritage work are up for nomination within the prestigious Current Archaeology Awards 2012.

  • 'The Second Radiocarbon Revolution', featured in issue 259 of Current Archaeology, has been nominated within the Research Project of the Year category
  • 'The Story of Silbury Hill' by Jim Leary and David Field, published by English Heritage, is nominated within the Book of the Year category
  • Senior archaeologist, Tony Wilmott, is nominated for Archaeologist of the Year.

Voting

Voting is now open. Please go to: awards.archaeology.co.uk, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and select your favourite from the list.

Voting is open until Friday 17 February, and the winners will be announced at the Current Archaeology Live! 2012 conference, held at the University of London's Senate House on the 2-3 March.

Tickets for the conference are £119 for people who do not subscribe to either Current Archaeology or Current World Archaeology magazines. However English Heritage members will be able to purchase tickets for £89.
