What we do in the East Midlands office
Our role is to:
- provide statutory and other advice on the management of the historic environment
- work with other organisations at a strategic and local level to secure benefits for the historic environment
- give grants for secular buildings, places of worship, ancient monuments and help for tackling heritage at risk
- maintain and conserve 23 of the properties in English Heritage's National Collection
