Audley End House

Audley End House and Gardens have had many twists and turns in their history. Originally one of the greatest Jacobean houses in the country, surrounded by vast formal gardens, it has passed through the ownership of many great families. Today the house's interior is largely the result of ownership by the third Baron Braybrooke who inherited it in 1825. The Victorian Service Wing has recently been refurbished to bring alive the world below stairs in this great house.
