The Churches Conservation Trust

Churches Conservation Trust

The Churches Conservation Trust has been protecting historic churches at risk since 1968. In this time they have saved over 340 parish churches from neglect and decay.

English Heritage recognises the exceptional work carried out by The Trust in preserving and promoting these churches. From rustic gems to ornate treasures, each has been saved because it tells a unique and remarkable story.

With sites to visit across the country, we encourage you to discover these wonderful churches, all of which are free to visit and can be easily incorporated into a great day out at one of our nearby properties.
