St Mary, Sarnesfield

Grade I listed 12th century Norman church set in wooded rural location on the Sarnesfield estate. Fine timber roof, bell tower added c1300 and south chapel during 14th century. Some medieval glass survives.Table tomb in churchyard to John Abell d.1674, designer of many Herefordshire timber buildings.
