Stella McCartney's Lucky Spot

Stella McCartney's Lucky Spot, Belsay Hall

Thirteen of the country’s most exciting and creative fashion designers were asked to respond to the magnificence of Belsay Hall, gardens and 14th century castle and to create new interiors, film or installations. The results ranged from Stella McCartney’s magical crystal horse to contemporary film projected into ceiling voids within the castle by Hamish Morrow, installations in the upper bedrooms by Agent Provocateur and a former study transformed by laying tonnage upon tonnage of white laundry upon each other by artist/fashion designer Shelley Fox.
