High Street 2012 will improve the apperance of the streets which will receive world-wide attention as hosts of the 2012 London Marathon. As well as public realm and highway improvements, the scheme will invovle a series of building renovation schemes

Heritage Counts 2008 is the seventh annual survey of the state of England’s historic environment. It highlights the key developments in region between 2007 and 2008 including information on number of historical assets, planning consents, funding, participation in the heritage sector, heritage at risk and key policy developments.

This report is one of nine regional reports and has been prepared by English Heritage on behalf of the London Heritage Forum.
