Dear Chancellor,
I support the English Heritage Inspired! campaign to secure a future for this country’s historic places of worship. I would like to thank you for extending the scheme which refunds VAT on repairs to these precious buildings but, as English Heritage’s research has shown,much more needs to be done to avert a crisis. I urge you to support the campaign and English Heritage’s five-point plan to tackle the problem.
