The National Monuments Record (NMR), the public archive of English Heritage is based in Swindon and open to the public. You can visit our Public Search Room and Library or contact us by letter, telephone, fax or email.
There's no need to visit to find out what we have. You can fill in the Online Enquiry form, or we can search the NMR's photographs, documents and other records for you using either the free enquiry service, the priority search service or research service (see Enquiry Services). If you're interested in any of the material we find you can order copies.
