Our exhibitions are designed to promote England's heritage, and to generate interest and enthusiasm for historic buildings, archaeology, landscapes, photography and photographers.
Sourced from the photographic collections of the National Monuments Record (NMR), the public archive of English Heritage, our exhibition images are expertly selected from over 8 million photographs dating from the 1850s to the present day.
Exhibitions are held at a variety of venues across the country – details of current, future and past exhibitions can found here.
If you're a museum, gallery, archive, library or community group interested in working with us on an exhibition, please contact Anne Woodward.
