The English Heritage website features a search box in the top right hand corner of each page on the site. This allows you to search through all content on the English Heritage website.
The main search box will return results including:
- All pages
- Properties
- Events
- Publications
- News
- Guidance
We have several options available to help you find exactly what you are looking for.
Professional / Advanced Search
The advanced search box is on the Professional homepage.
You can change the way this search will work by choosing one of the following tools:
- All words - e.g. 'Conservation' and 'Areas' used anywhere on a page
- Any word - e.g. 'Conservation' or 'Areas' anywhere on a page
- An exact match - e.g. 'Conservation Areas' used as a phrase
In addition you can use tick boxes to restrict your search to specific sections of the site.
Other Search Tools
Across the site we feature many dedicated search tools. These allow you to search particular content, such as properties, the battlefields register or publications.
