To accompany the Registers, we have produced a report that examines the state of each of the asset types on the Register in turn. This report is published at a time when the public, private and voluntary sectors all face very difficult choices about how to fulfil their responsibilities with reduced resources. We demonstrate in the report how Heritage at Risk is an extremely effective way of identifying the most threatened sites, and allowing effort to be focused where it is most needed. This information is collected from a range of sources, is publicly available and widely shared with all those who have an interest in finding solutions. It helps to create partnerships - which in turn greatly increase the chance of finding sustainable long-term solutions.
