Monk Bretton Priory is hosting the English Mystery Plays which will run from 29th June until 11th July. To allow the set up and preparation for this event, the priory is closed to visitors from 15th June until 15 July. For further information and tickets please visit the English Mystery Plays website.

The substantial ruins of a Cluniac monastery, with an unusually well-marked ground plan, an almost complete west range and a 15th-century gatehouse.
