Methley, West Yorkshire (WAS16513/11)

A group of Iron Age/ Roman enclosures and field boundaries aligned along a trackway at Methley, West Yorkshire photographed on 4-JUL-1995. The relationship of the double-ditched feature, which extends across the centre of the frame, to the other cropmarks remains unclear, but there is a possibility that it represents a previously unrecorded Roman road. © copyright WYAS.
