Iron Age/Romano-British enclosure at Heacham photographed by D.A. Edwards (NLA 234/DRT6)
An Iron Age to Romano-British enclosure at Heacham, north-west Norfolk. The dark cropmark of a rectangular ditched enclosure at the centre of the photograph marks the site of a small farmstead. Circular marks within the enclosure show where three round houses once stood. The site is surrounded by further cropmarks, marking the boundaries of fields, enclosures and droveways.
