Gardens

Take time to explore the magnificent grounds and pastoral parkland designed by ‘Capability’ Brown. Walk over to the lake or climb up to the Temple of Concord to admire the house in its wonderful setting.
- Wander round the beautiful 19th century parterre with its magnificent floral displays.
- Imagine yourself back in Victorian times as you take a turn around the organic walled Kitchen Garden growing original fruit and vegetable varieties – complete with labels in beautiful copperplate handwriting!
- Discover the Elysian Garden cascade and Robert Adam’s ornamental garden buildings, including the elegant ‘Tea House Bridge’.
