Toilets: Adapted WCs available; ramped access beside keep and Secret Wartime Tunnels.
Shop: Level access.
Restaurant and cafe: Level access.
Naafi restaurant serves a selection of hot and cold food and drinks, all sourced from local Kent producers. The Keep Coffee Shop and The Secret Wartime Tunnels also serve a selection of tea, coffee and light homemade refreshments.
Access:

Access to castle and grounds: Extensive grounds mainly accessible on tarmac paths but there are some very steep slopes. Wheelchair routes and guides are available.

Access to Secret Wartime Tunnels: Good access for wheelchair users but entry is down a steep slope. Mobility scooters are available and should be requested in advance. A land train is available for access to different areas of the site.

Parking:
Within castle, 100m from keep. Disabled visitors may use Palace Green car park next to keep to avoid steep path from Constable's Tower and cobbled drawbridge. Mobility scooters are available and should be requested in advance.
Visually Impaired Visitors:
Braille guide and disabled orientation map available.
Hearing Impaired Visitors:
Hearing dogs welcome. Some hearing loops available.

Christmas at Dover Castle: Special Christmas packages to get you into the festive spirit, available every Thurs-Mon in December (exc. 25 & 26 Dec). Enjoy a traditional Christmas lunch and a festive guided tour of the Great Tower. Pre-booking essential, groups must be minimum of 6 people or more. Call for prices and to book.

 

Ghost Tours: Prepare to be spooked with our ghostly guided tours. Taking place every Saturday & Sunday in January & February 5:30pm-8:30pm. Price is £25 per person. Pre-booking is essential for these popular tours. Call for more info and to book.
