A rare one-man-operated 18th-century water mill in part working order. Nearby there are attractive gardens and woodland walks, a stone weir and the significant Aymestrey Limestone Quarry. Special day and evening guided tours for groups are available by arrangement with the owner. Please call for details.

Access:
Access to mill: Level access to ground floor accessible. Ladder steps to first floor are very steep and narrow and suitable for ambulant disabled visitors only (separate entrance at rear).
Grounds: Smooth grassed area by the river is accessible via earth paths; a pusher is recommended. Seats available in summer.
Parking:
50m east of entrance via roadside verge; car park surface can be slippery and muddy if wet. Disabled visitors may be set down nearer the mill and enter via private gate to Mill House - please telephone in advance if possible.
Visually Impaired Visitors:
Wooden parts of mill, sack cloth and old mill tools may be touched. Visitors can enjoy the sounds of the mill turning, river sounds and bird song.
