Access to castle and grounds: Mostly accessible via smooth gravel paths, except keep, accessed via steps. Steps can be avoided using alternative route. Strong pusher recommended. Three benches. Toilets: Adapted WC.

Parking:
90m from entrance via steep incline with large cobbles. Parking for visitors with disabilities or setting down point available within castle grounds. Please contact a member of the Visitor Operations Team in advance to pre-book a space.
Visually Impaired Visitors:
Special audio tour included in admission price. NB Remains are hazardous due to unfenced ditches, moat and ramparts.
Hearing Impaired Visitors:
Audio tour with hearing loop included in admission price. Script available.
What facilities are available for groups?
Group Discount:
15% discount for groups of 11 or more visitors paying together plus a free place for every additional 20 paying passengers. Free entry for coach driver and tour leader
Coach Parking Facilities:
As there is no parking on site, please use car park in town centre (pay & display). Then take short walk up the (fairly steep) hill to the castle
