The octagonal turreted tower, surrounded by pretty Elizabethan gardens filled with flowers and topiary, still has an unmistakable air of romance. A choice of two stunning ground floor rooms are available to hire for civil ceremonies and receptions for up to 50 guests and for intimate dinners for 20 people.

Adjoining the Fireplace Room is the Dining Room. A complete contrast, the Dining Room is light and airy with a large bay window framing the geometric picture outside formed by parterre patterns in lush green, dotted with colourful flowers. In fine weather, the parterre garden outside the Gatehouse is a perfect setting for drinks before dining or for unique receptions with the castle buildings providing a picturesque historic backdrop. *A license to hold civil wedding ceremonies is under application
