Overseas Visitor Pass Terms and Conditions

The English Heritage Overseas Visitor Pass ("the Pass") provides free entry to English Heritage properties for a period of 7 or 14 consecutive days. There may be an additional charge payable on entry to a property for special attractions not included in the normal admission price for that property.

  1. Once payment has been successfully processed, a Booking Confirmation and Re-confirmation e-mail ("voucher") confirming purchase and payment will be sent to the customer carrying a unique reference number. The Pass and Guidebook can then be collected at any English Heritage property during normal opening hours on presentation of the voucher. The customer must also provide proof of identity in the form of a Passport, Identity Card of Driver's License to authenticate that they are the rightful owner of the voucher and as proof of overseas residency.
  2. The Pass will be validated by our staff at the first property visited by entering the "valid from" date and "valid until" date on the Pass as well as the pass holder's name. The Pass holder must sign the Pass.
  3. The Pass may only be used by the person(s) or family named on the Passcard and is non-transferable.
  4. Proof of identity may be requested on presentation of the voucher and of the Pass at any property.
  5. The Pass must be presented by the holder at the admission point of each property visited.
  6. The Pass cannot be used in conjunction with any other special offer. Group discounts do not apply for sales of Passes.
  7. The Pass is valid up to and including the "valid until" date shown on the card.
  8. Opening times of attractions may change from time to time and we advise to check with the property before visiting to ascertain the current position. 
  9. The pass entitles the holder to pay Members' Prices at English Heritage events.
  10. The pass cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
  11. The 2008/09 Overseas Visitor Pass Prices are valid to 31st March 2009, with a price change on the 1 December 2008, when VAT is changed from 17.5% to 15%. The 2009/10 Overseas Visitor Pass Prices are valid from the 1 April 2009 to the 31st MAcrh 2010.
  12. The "2 adults" pass is valid for up to 2 adults travelling together. The "family" pass is valid for up to 2 adults and up to 4 other family members at the same address under 19 years of age.
  13. The 2008/2009 English Heritage Overseas Visitor Pass permits admission to English Heritage properties for 7 or 14 consecutive days within the period 1 April 2008 to 13 April 2009. The 2009/10 English Heritage Overseas Visitor Pass permits admission to English Heritage properties for 7 or 14 consecutive days within the period from 1 April 2009 to 13 April 2010.
