1) Do you run a graduate scheme?
We are not currently running a graduate scheme. However, if you are a graduate (or are currently studying) please register for job alerts, or keep an eye on this website, for positions within English Heritage that may be relevant to your skills and qualifications.
2) When do you approach referees for references?
We take up references once you have been offered a position within English Heritage.
3) Can I submit a CV in place of an application form?
For certain positions we do accept CVs. It will be clearly stated on the job advertisement if a CV is required. For all other posts, a completed application form will be required.
4) Can I submit a speculative CV for future vacancies?
Unfortunately we do not accept speculative CVs on file. However, we do offer Job Alerts which will e-mail you directly with details of all new vacancies, according to your specifications and interests. Please register your details here.
5) If my job application is unsuccessful, will my details be kept on file for other similar positions?
Although we keep job applications on file for 6 months, this is purely for administrative purposes. You should therefore apply for any subsequent positions that interest you. The best way to find out about the latest vacancies at English Heritage is to register for our job alerts.
6) Can I apply for more than one job?
Yes, you are welcome to apply for any vacancies which are of interest to you, but, please check that you meet the criteria required before applying.
