National Trust Logo Black and White JPG version of the English Heritage LogoThe consultation period has now ended.  Many thanks to the several hundred organisations and individuals who have taken the time to send us their comments; your help is much appreciated.

The replies will be studied carefully and a report summarising and responding to them will be produced as soon as possible, and will be made public on this website.  Our draft report on the response to the request will then be revised  and considered by the NT's and EH's governing bodies, who will decide on the action to be taken.

It has been brought to our attention by Rollo Maughling of the Council of British Druid Orders that his group owns the CoBDO trademark, and that they dissociate themselves from statements of Paul Davies in the consultation documents. We are happy to provide this clarification, and have welcomed Mr Maughling's comments on the reburial request as part of the consultation process.
