• from a successful partnership with Hounslow Councils Youth Service department, during the run up to the festival in 2005. Burlington Bling continued this work with their PAYP (positive activities for young people) team looking at providing outlets, for young people in the borough who had previously had limited access to creative opportunities, to gain new skills.
  • Chiswick House
    As part of the major regeneration of Chiswick House & Grounds, English Heritage’s Outreach & Education Departments developed an exciting programme of arts initiatives inspired by the site.
  • Revealing Significance-The John Roan school workshop at Rangers House
    During the first half of 2007, two local community groups, The Her Centre & Greenwich Community College and The John Roan School participated in workshops facilitated by artist Matthew Krishanu to identify objects they found of particular interest & significance in the collection. Responses were collected through: discussion, writing and the creation of art work back in community settings.
  • The Wall of Words
    Created by Beyonder, Multimedia Artist and Educator to invite a creative Literary response from visitors to the Slavery & Justice exhibition at Kenwood House. The Wall of Words, a literary mural, is a traditional artistic intervention used to empower the visitor experience where they can share, exchange and interact with the artist and Kenwood House in a unique yet powerful way. Beyonder’s job was to observe and create a new literary piece of work (i.e. Poem) from the musings that were recorded by the visitors to the Wall of Words.
