St Mawes Entrance Hall

Entrance Hall

Inside, a spiral stone staircase links three circular rooms. The finely decorated Entrance Hall also leads directly out to the stunning terrace, an exquisite location to toast your marriage in fine weather as ships pass by on the horizon and with the sounds of waves lapping the shore below.

St Mawes Upper Gun Room

Upper Gun Room

With wooden floor and beams and arched window alcoves this is a cosy and intimate space.

St Mawes Garrison Mess Room

Garrison Mess Room

Following the ancient spiral stairs down from the entrance floor leads you into the Castle’s dining room. This atmospheric room is used for dinner and dancing. The huge fireplace makes an impressive background for your top table, and the simple whitewashed walls work superbly well to show off your flowers and table decorations to their best advantage.
