Kenilworth Caste, a site of intrigue and passion and one of King Henry VIII's favourite castles in England. Once the seat of John of Gaunt, the home of Robert Dudley, and the favourite of Queen Elizabeth I, Kenilworth Castle is now the stage for your love story. As you celebrate, centuries on, you can imagine Dudley lavishly entertaining his Queen with feasting, music and dancing, or perhaps stealing a secret kiss in the flower gardens.
Wedding ceremonies and receptions take place in and around the Gatehouse, which stands beside a charming topiary-filled parterre garden, close to the recreated Elizabethan Garden with its fountain, arbours and ‘bejewelled’ aviary.See all rooms
We had the most fantastic wedding reception at Kenilworth Castle in July 2016 and the team at the Castle, led by Louise McCannon, had a huge part to play in making our wedding day run absolutely perfectly. We could not have found a more brilliant team and count ourselves very lucky to have been supported by such a wonderfully friendly and professional group of people.
Thank you for all your help, the ceremony was absolutely perfect, it was better than I had ever imagined it would be.
Well it all went very well and we are grateful for the the part that you and your colleagues played both in the planning and on the day. The arrangements went very smoothly and we have nothing but praise for the EH organisation.
Our wedding at Kenilworth Castle was truly magical - better than we could have ever imagined. Louise could not have been more helpful in helping us create our dream wedding. Some of our requests were slightly unconventional, but Louise was able to be flexible and accommodating. The venue itself is stunning, all our guests were thoroughly impressed and our wedding photos are striking as a result. Overall, we simply can't recommend a wedding at Kenilworth Castle enough.
We had such an amazing day, thank you so much for all of your help and pass on our thanks also to the team, we were so impressed with the professionalism and good humour of you both. Thanks again for all of your assistance and hard work – it really showed.
