Belsay Hall, Castle and Gardens
Get ahead of the Christmas rush and into the festive spirit at Belsay Hall, Castle and Gardens this November. Our traditional festive gift fair is a fantastic alternative to the high street with a wide variety of specialist crafts and handmade gifts for sale. You'll be sure to find the perfect present for friends and family amongst the stalls.
Hear local choirs, Ayres and Grace Notes and the Indigo Choir, singing Christmas carols at 2.30pm in the Pillar Hall (with an extra performance at 12.30pm on Sunday). And join North-East based blogger Cheryl Lumley for upcycling Christmas decorations workshops at 10.30am and 1.30pm. Cheryl will be showing you some savvy hacks to upgrade last year's decorations and create something a little more personal. Workshops last two hours and are suitable for the whole family.
Good little girls and boys will also have the chance to meet our Victorian Father Christmas and receive an early Christmas gift. Find him upstairs in the hall at 11am, 1pm and 3pm. This is bookable on site, on the day and there is a £3 charge for each child.
