A grey statue of a king standing in castle ruins.

As part of the Richard III Festival in the town, visit the childhood home of the controversial king.

Enjoy performances from our costumed characters and learn about 15th century life. Meet King Richard III and Queen Anne as they take up residence at Middleham Castle and explore the authentic living history camp.

The castle grounds will be filled with tents displaying activities from cooking and crafts to medieval manners and demonstrations of surgery!
