Clash of the Knights at Pendennis Castle

Date

Wed 30 & Thu 31 May 2018

Time

11am-5pm

Location

Pendennis Castle

Suitable For

Everyone

A knight in armour

Please be advised that the Castle will be closed from 4pm on Saturday 30th June for a wedding. We will be open again from 10am on Sunday 1st July and look forward to seeing you then.

Experience this all-action contest as four teams of knights battle it out for victory. Armed only with clubs and shields, strength and skill, the knights will meet head-on in an adrenalin-fuelled combat that's not to be missed.

Cheer on your favourite in the Crest Melee, where brave knights attempt to knock the crest off their rival's helmet. The opponents will also test their nerve on horseback, before the Grand Melee reveals the ultimate winner.

If the heat of battle gets too much, join the jester for some historical high-jinx or listen to our minstrels play merry tunes. Budding young knights can test their skill at have-a-go archery, or hear musical tales of Reynard the Fox.
