Join us for a temporary exhibition at Wrest Park by artist Sally Annett. In ‘Systems of Philosophy – Wall (paper)s of the mind’ Annett explores the many and varied uses of paper and considers the relationship between contemporary and heritage fine art spaces and functionalities. Ranging from contemporary engravings to large scale prints, Annett’s series of work is inspired by the fascinating wallpaper collection at Wrest Park. Developed through a unique method of engraving and mono-printing, Annett uses hand collected rose petals to create a fragmented and beautiful effect.
In collaboration with Bletchley Park, Wrest Park and supported by the Arts Council England and Alchemy Solutions this dual exhibition of prints, works on paper and site specific art pieces runs from late June until mid-July.
Hear about the exhibition in our introductory talks in the dairy. Please ask staff in the visitor centre for times and availability.
