Belsay Hall plays host to displays of a fabulous collection of costumes from a variety of Jane Austen film and TV productions. See the infamous shirt worn by Colin Firth in TV’s Pride and Prejudice, Gwyneth Paltrow’s dress from Emma and many more.

Time Travellers Go... Crime and Punishment Week!

Meet Thomas Turlis, the 18th Century Hangman at Tyburn. Hear his tales of felons and their punishments during the Georgian period and take part in trials. There is also a crime and punishment trail in the grounds.
