Corbridge Roman Town - Hadrian's Wall

Corbridge Roman Town is open every weekend this winter (Nov-Mar) A crucial supply base for the Roman legions based on Hadrian’s Wall, Corbridge developed into a bustling civilian settlement.

Here you can walk around the streets of what was once an active Roman Town. Inside the Museum see a fascinating new display which shows one of the most significant finds in Roman history.

The Corbridge 'Hoard' is a display of armour and possessions from a Roman soldier and one of the most influential Roman 'time capsules' ever discovered in Hadrian's Wall Country.
