Explore the darkly atmospheric Secret Wartime Tunnels now with a vivid recreation of the Dunkirk evacuation, complete with dramatic projections of swooping Spitfires and real film footage. Watch Heart FM's breakfast team James & Charlie as they experience Operation Dynamo.

Enjoy a colourful contrast with the richly-furnished Great Tower, where costumed actors introduce medieval life at King Henry II's court.

Over the course of the weekend, visit the Great Tower and meet members of King Henry II's royal court. Immerse yourself in the pomp, pageantry and intrigue of medieval court life as you interact with a host of characters including the King himself!

Dover castle's popular WWII weekend is back with a bang, so come along and witness an explosive WWII battle. Soak up the atmosphere as the castle returns to 1940's. Walk through military encampments and get up close to a full size replica spitfire.
