UNLIMITED ACCESS TO OVER 400 HISTORIC PLACES
Live and breathe the story of England at royal castles, historic gardens, forts and defences, world-famous prehistoric sites and many others.
The castle remains open as normal, and we’re looking forward to welcoming visitors. There will be roadworks on the A49 where it meets the A51 near Tarporley until 5th May, so if you’re travelling from that direction you may need to follow a short diversion.
Open daily, 10am - 5pm (last entry at 4.30pm)

Our kiosk serves a delicious range of hot and cold drinks, pasties, sausage rolls and sandwiches, as well as delicious pastries, cream teas, ice creams and cakes. We cater for a range of dietary requirements – and even stock tasty treats for your canine companions. There’s no indoor seating, but there are plenty of picnic tables outside.
The kiosk is open to the public, and you don't need to pay admission to the castle to visit.
